Victoria Watson

PhD Student

Victoria is a PhD student in Applied Sciences at SMU. Her work is focused on reconstructing the historic paleoenvironment of Sable Island, and characterizing its modern and future geomorphology. This also includes looking at Sable Island Bank to understand its role in sustaining the island.

Victoria is co-supervised by TCA’s Dr. Danika van Proosdij, and Dr. Jordan Eamer of the Geological Survey of Canada.

She has a BSc in Environmental Sciences from University of Guelph, a Master’s in Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University, and experience managing projects related to Atlantic Canada’s renewable energy transition.
