Are you interested in learning how you can implement nature-based solutions on your own shores? The Green Shores program offers solutions for shoreline property owners, managers, and anyone interested in shoreline ecosystem protection to address issues like shoreline erosion, sea level rise and climate change.

Register for our Level 1 training session on February 28th (9am-4pm) hosted at Saint Mary’s University! This one-day course introduces basic shoreline ecosystem principles and the rationale, benefits, and application of the Green Shores Program.

We are also able to provide FREE training, for residents of the following areas:

• Pictou County

• West Hants Regional Municipality

• Barrington Municipality

• Kespukwitk / Southwest Nova Scotia Priority Place

Training will take place in person on Saint Mary's University campus from 9am to 4pm, with a practical field visit in the afternoon. All training materials will be provided. Registration is $210+HST, and is open to everyone. Accommodations and meals/food are the responsibility of the participants.
