We have restored 98 hectares of tidal wetland habitat in Nova Scotia since 2005.
Since beginning our work in 2005, nine projects have been completed, resulting in:
- 5 culvert replacements
- 4 dyke breaches
- 98 hectares of restored tidal wetland habitat
Although these initial projects took time to get off the ground, the need for nature-based solutions is growing and we have a further 9 projects pending with an anticipated restored area of 338 hectares.
