Dr. Eric Rapaport

Professor, School of Planning, Dalhousie University

Dr. Eric Rapaport is a Professor of Planning in the School of Planning at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS.  Eric teaches and conducts applied research in environmental and community planning with focus areas environmental interaction between the built and natural environments – such as sea level rise and impacts on infrastructure, future land use plans and vulnerable communities.  He is an advisor to such organization the Nova Scotia Department of the Environment Water Sector Brace Program and the Atlantic Climate Adaptations Solutions Association Expert Panel on Climate Change Adaptation and Canadian Institute of Planners Climate Change research programs.

Eric is a licensed professional planner in Nova Scotia (LPPNS), a member of the Atlantic Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners as well as a member of the College of Fellow- of the Royal Canada Geographical Society.
