MA Candidate, Saint Mary’s University, Supervised by Dr. Danika van Proosdij

I am a Masters of Geography student, supervised by Dr. Danika van Proosdij from the beautiful Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Working with the Making Room for Movement project has afforded me the opportunity to learn more about nature-based approaches and other aspects related to coastal issues. My research focuses on exploring public perception of risk to coastal hazards affecting Small Island Developing States, specifically St. Kitts and Nevis. Additionally, the goal is to explore the perception of nature-based solutions and the possibility to incorporate more nature-based solutions to reduce the risk of coastal hazards.
