In_Coast Lab Manager

Leah joined TransCoastal Adaptations in 2022, she is excited to build more knowledge in coastal ecosystems and climate change research. She holds a B.Sc in Environmental Science from Mount Allison University and a Masters of Environmental Management (MEM) from the University of New Brunswick. She has gained experience working in a variety of aspects of environmental science, her masters focused on developing a predictive GIS model to locate a rare assemblage of woodland plants in the Appalachian Hardwood Forest. Leah has been involved in research and contract positions related to: the public health effects of climate change, cumulative environmental impacts on Atlantic indigenous communities, watershed and water quality monitoring, and ocean submarine habitat conservation.
